PROJECT DESCRIPTION: |
"Desire" is a new full-length theatre song-cycle/musical about gay life in the US in the 1970s. Activists and hedonists, drag queens hustlers and workers. Based on the book "States of Desire" by Edmund White, music by Peter Murphy, book and lyrics by Peter Scott-Presland. Plays/records at the Albany Empire in Deptford, London June 30th to July 2nd. |
