PROJECT DESCRIPTION: |
Director: Casey Regan. Student short film entitled 'Always Say 'Ai Shiteru,'' produced in association with Emerson College, looking for mostly Japanese cast in creation of Japanese noir/American noir hybrid.
Plot:
Akira, a bookie for the Kato Yakuza, tries to make off with the winnings of Boss Kato Hiroshi. Waiting at the train station, Akira is approached by a Stranger who forces Akira to dwell upon what he is leaving behind in both his status amongst the Yakuza and his worried girlfriend Ami. But who is this stranger? Why is he there? |

Hiroshi commands an air of both benevolence and ruthlessness, since he has been a crime lord for over half his life. Hiroshi demands loyalty from the many foot-soldiers working under him. |
